Someone Decided To Make Haggis Lollipops
The lollipop, which you can make at home for yourself by following these instructions, uses all the ingredients from the traditional Scottish dish. That means you can expect to be eating a sheep’s heart, liver and lungs boiled with fat and oatmeal in its own stomach. Of course, these days presentation is everything, so the mini haggis is then put on the end of a lollipop stick and tied together using a nice tartan ribbon. What’s not to love?
“We’ve put up with the misery of having to eat turkey and potatoes and chocolate and candy throughout the winter holidays, but now we can finally breathe a sigh of relief and tuck into that one meal we wait all year for: haggis,” says the inventor of the dish.
